Can I take the Menopause+ supplement in conjunction with HRT?
Our capsules only contain ingredients from natural food sources – they simply provide the nutrition in a much easier and convenient way. However, women who are on HRT are suggested to avoid Red Clover products due to the phytoestrogens. Can I take the Menopause+ supplement in conjunction with thyroxine?
Our capsules only contain ingredients from natural food sources – they just provide the nutrition in a much easier and convenient way.
Since they are not medical or pharmaceutical drugs and contain only natural ingredients, they should be completely safe to take alongside thyroxine. In terms of iodine content, taking a capsule is the same as eating 0.5g of the right type of seaweed as a food.
The natural levels of iodine allow for European Food Standards Agency health claims that our supplements support normal thyroid function and the production of thyroid hormones, amongst other approved claims.
